In this strategic leadership role, you’ll drive planning, value articulation, and transformation initiatives that deliver measurable impact across Digital R&D. You’ll foster agile, product-aligned ways of working and a high-performance culture, while facilitating cross-functional decision-making with the Digital R&D Leadership Team. This includes leading strategic portfolio planning, OKR alignment, value measurement, and partner collaboration. You’ll also steward key processes and change management efforts, ensuring effective adoption of enterprise-wide digital practices.

Main responsibilities

• Drive strategic planning and decision-making across Digital R&D portfolio.

• Lead articulation of targeted technical ecosystem and communicate strategic plans.

• Scout and advise on build/buy/partner decisions for digital tools and platforms.

• Steward value articulation and ROI measurement for R&D digital investments.

• Coordinate creation and tracking of OKRs and KPIs across Digital R&D.

• Translate enterprise Agile methods and support change management initiatives.

• Enable innovation through hackathons, user engagement, and usability improvements.

• Lead team engagement, communications, and transformation programs.

• Ability to travel up to 30% overall to Sanofi headquarters and major R&D centers globally.

About you

• 5+ years experience in strategy development ideally leading digital solutions in pharmaceutical or vaccines R&D.

• Strong strategic mindset and business acumen with measurable impact delivery.

• Proficiency with AI/ML tools and automation in evidence generation.

• Skilled in engaging with software vendors, startups, and platform providers.

• Demonstrated leadership in matrixed, multicultural, global organizations.

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
