Student Life | Student Wellness CenterThe Program Coordinator for the Monda Student Resource Center (MSRC) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the MSRC, including the Buckeye Food Alliance (BFA) on-campus food pantry and the Reid Family Career Closet (RFCC). This role provides leadership and coordination for all MSRC day to day services and initiatives, manages schedules for internal staff and external partners using MSRC spaces and supervises and mentors student staff, volunteers, and full-time staff (when assigned and as available). The Program Coordinator advises the BFA student organization, supports development and outreach efforts, and ensures the MSRC remains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Additional responsibilities include sourcing and organizing donations, conducting assessments, facilitating marketing and awareness campaigns, and participating in campus committees. Evening and weekend hours may be required.
Physical Requirements: This position has some physical expectations for moving and replenishing food, clothes, shoes, and personal care items. Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds, be able to bend, twist, and stand for periods of time when receiving and replenishing shelves with a wide variety of items.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. 3 years of relevant experience required.
DESRIED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Work, Dietetics, Higher Education or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education; 4-8 years of relevant experience. Experience working with college students; excellent communication skills in both one-on-one and group settings; knowledge of food insecurity efforts on the college campus, experience addressing the needs of college students; experience working in non-profit organizations.
Additional Information:
The starting hiring range for this role is $58,700-$60,000. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit’s available budget, and the selected candidate’s qualifications.
