WHAT AWAITS YOU.
•    Monitor, analyze, and evaluate complex geopolitical trends and security issues to support BMW Group's business and security decision-making processes.
•    Provide security and crisis management governance and strategic business continuity intelligence products to stakeholders in the Americas Region.
•    Conduct open-source intelligence gathering, analyze information, and provide relevant and timely feedback to all business units in the Americas Region.
•    Develop and deliver meaningful and factual oral and written risk assessments and intelligence reports based on evolving security risks and situations in the Americas Region.
•    Stay current with intelligence topics including local and transnational crime, terrorism, geopolitical instability, public health emergencies, and natural disasters.
•    Provide actionable proactive intelligence to mitigate risks and support strategic crisis management and business continuity decision-making.
•    Develop, sustain, and leverage relationships with key public and private external entities, and design, construct, maintain and deploy data sources to generate statistical reporting for internal business units.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.

•    Bachelor’s degree in a field of study such as political science, criminal justice, international relations, national security studies, business administration or supply chain management preferred. 
•    Minimum 5 years professional analytical experience in a field such as supply chain management, corporate security, law enforcement, military, investigations and/or intelligence.
•    Minimum 5 years professional experience representing a corporate security, law enforcement, military, and/or intelligence organization in an official liaison capacity with external agencies and entities.
•    Experience in working with open-source data, databases, and analysis tools.
•    Knowledge in security analysis, risks, and management.
•    Professional security certification(s), preferred.
•    Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese language(s), preferred.
•    Experience working in an analytic fusion cell/command center highly desired.
•    Advanced open source and social media research proficiency, preferred
•    Previous experience analyzing local, national, and global trends impacting an organization and/or Industry, preferred.
•    Experience as a liaison representative communicating and coordinating with external organizations, preferred.

Relocation is available for this position. 

 

This is a hybrid role that requires regular attendance in the office.

 

The pay range for this role is: $62,500.00 - $125,000.00.

 

The selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
