VP OF SECURITY & SURVEILLANCE (POD – Las Vegas Multi Property)
JOB SUMMARY
Through the Vice President of Security & Surveillance the department is responsible for the enforcement of all laws and ordinances coming within its legal jurisdiction, including company policies. The VP is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, controlling, and staffing all activities of the department and for department relations with other departments within their respective scope of Caesars properties and federal and local agencies. The VP is responsible for establishing the operation parameters of the entire Department and its respective divisions and units. The VP acts as the primary conduit between Senior Management and the Department. In this capacity, the VP implements the protection and loss prevention philosophies of Senior Management. The VP is routinely available to all who wish to share their concerns on any issue regarding the safety, security, and general well-being of the establishment, and encourages all team members of the company to take advantage of his accessibility. The VP has the authority to act in all matters pertaining to the protection of life and property of all guests and team members of the properties and in the prevention of crime, and the reduction of hazards in such a way as to minimize risks from all hazards. The VP coordinates with all other department heads for the performance of adequate security measures and usual administrative activities.
