Position Overview:
The HR Generalist partners with RQIP leaders and team members to drive the success of HR programs and initiatives throughout the organization. This position plays a key role in supporting our organization's human resource functions including benefit & payroll administration, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Position Holder is Accountable For:
- Manage employee benefit programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
- Administer payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely processing of changes and payment of wages.
- Manage Leave of Absence programs in accordance with company programs and applicable federal and state laws including FMLA, PFL, STD, LTD and Military leave.
- Support the administration of Human Resources programs and processes including performance reviews, annual merit increases, and variable pay programs.
- Act as primary HR contact for internal reporting and audit requirements.
- Work with third-party administrator to ensure compliance with federal and state regulated programs and required reporting such as Affirmative Action, VETS, EEOC-1, and ACA.
- Drive employee engagement by contributing to the development and execution of HR initiatives to promote employee satisfaction and motivation.
- Act as first line support to team members with questions or concerns.
- Provide support in other areas of HR as needed.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Minimum of five years related Human Resources experience.
- Must be a self-started with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to embrace positivity and teamwork.
- Intermediate knowledge in MS Office programs (word, excel, ppt).
- SHRM/PHR Certification strongly preferred.
The estimated annual base salary for this position is $70,000 to $75,000. Please note that this range does not include any other compensation or benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, level of education attained, and/or professional certifications, years of relevant experience, special skills, etc.
