About the Role

Our client, an experienced producer is seeking a mid-level to senior 2D animator for a project. This project involves creating a 5-6 minute dystopian animated short film. The position offers the opportunity to work on a creative and challenging project with potential for follow-up work. The animator will work remotely to bring this dystopian world to life through skilled 2D animation.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 2D animations for a 5-6 minute dystopian short film
• Develop character animations that convey emotion and story effectively
• Design and animate dystopian environments and special effects
• Collaborate with the producer to understand and execute the project vision

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work
• Advanced skills in 2D animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar)
• Excellent understanding of animation principles and techniques
• Experience in creating atmospheric and mood-driven animations
• Strong storytelling abilities through visual medium
