The Software Test Engineer provides leadership on major software testing and quality assurance efforts. Recognized as a domain expert.
Key responsibilities include:
• Provides authoritative leadership in software testing strategy, defect management, and process improvement. • Shapes enterprise testing strategy and ensures alignment with Section C.5.5.1 deliverables. • Directs systematic testing of software applications across enterprise systems. • Provides expertise in regression, performance, and deployment testing. • Oversees enterprise-wide defect tracking and resolution processes. • Shapes testing documentation standards and compliance verification methods. • Ensures continual improvement through advanced analysis and reporting. • Recognized for expertise in software testing and quality assurance. • Forecasts testing impacts and contributes to contract reviews. • Advises on acquisition logistics and system planning. • Trains staff in testing frameworks and compliance standards. • Ensures traceability, auditability, and compliance across all testing phases.Requirements
- Previous experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level.
- Minimum experience of:
- 8 years of experience with a BS/BA or 12 years without a degree or 10 years with an AS/AA or 6 years with a MS/MA or 3 years with a PhD.
- Ability to obtain DoD 8140 compliance for WRC: 451 Systems Administrator – Intermediate.
- DoD‑approved IA baseline certification for ADP‑III/IT‑III based on IAT level, plus a CE/Operating System (OS) certification within six months of assignment.
Clearance
- An active TS/SCI is required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
