We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Accounting to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing corporate accounting functions, with a primary focus on capital assets, allocations, and financial analysis. This individual will be responsible for mentoring and leading a team of accounting professionals while collaborating cross-functionally with other departments to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager of Accounting to join our finance team. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Lead and manage all aspects of corporate accounting functions, including capital assets, allocations, and financial analysis.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with finance leadership to provide insights into financial trends, performance, and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the tracking, accounting, and reporting of capital assets, ensuring
- compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain effective processes for the identification, recording, and depreciation of capital assets.
- Develop and manage allocation methodologies to ensure accurate distribution of costs among various departments and business units.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and optimize allocation models.
- Work closely with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide support.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set development goals, and support the professional growth of team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting, with a focus on capital assets, allocations, and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
