What You'll Do:
- Customer requested sample weighing including highly potent and controlled substances.
- Dissolution transfer preparations for sample inputs and outputs
- Directed sample submission (DSS) support (neat sample receiving through sample transfers, including issue communication, sample returns, if necessary, shipment notification, and customer service).
- Inventory of sample submissions from third parties including container barcode correction support for errors.
- Sample order support including:
- Order system customer service, including IT trouble ticket support.
- Order placement support for new customers
- Order processing prioritization based on order comments.
- Order completion monitoring to meet service level agreement defined in contract.
- Disposal of empty or broken containers or containers marked for disposal.
- Disposal containers (WSIS drums) will be provided by Lilly and clearly marked as to the appropriate contents.
- Management of waste to ensure compliance with chemical hygiene plan.
- Assembly and documentation for lab packs of undesired samples destined for disposal and incineration.
- Waste pick-up staging support for all laboratory waste streams
- Consumables support
- Monitoring of and support for consumables inventory to ensure all necessary consumables are on hand to perform business operations.
- Assist with Sample Management Technician responsibilities during peak demand
What You’ll Need:
- Associates Degree in Chemistry
