Retail Maintenance Estimator

Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Maintenance Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of construction estimating, materials and construction code requirements with experience processing accurate and competitive estimates for various service projects. This position will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of competitive project estimates and change orders of various commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit maintenance proposals within the scope of commercial projects under the direction of management
• Interpret and review blueprints, project schematics and/or specifications to determine material and labor requirements
• Reference pricing quotes from internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors
• Process a high volume of data entry to maintain and update estimating software and databases
• Continuously apply new industry trends, materials, and best practices into estimates
• Assist with processing commercial service plumbing estimates
• Will be assigned additional clerical duties as needed to support the department

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of recent experience in estimating commercial construction projects
• Knowledge of local and national plumbing codes and regulations desired
• Proficient utilizing estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient alpha-numeric data entry with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
