Your Role and Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for set-up and operating equipment/tools to create / modify raw materials to produce powders for development and pilot production.
• Set up machinery such as kilns, Rotary evaporators, mills, mixers, furnaces and oversee its functioning. Follow documented instructions, as well as calibrate equipment to specification. Follow strict company and industry safety regulations, as well as a tightly controlled sequence of functions and equipment programming functions.
• Follow prototype development from powder to finished article for rapid development and traceability.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other operators and supervisors, as well as attend regular training sessions for updates on equipment use. Conduct day to day activities and provide training to team members on relevant industry processes and equipment operations safety.
• Must be self-sufficient and work well with minimal supervision and must be able to detect and correct program errors in a timely fashion.
• Properly and safely load and unload raw materials into machinery, as well as change out tools as required.  Prefer experience using high precision scales, calipers, micrometers and oth
