Supervisor, Maintenance

Wage - $60,000 annually

Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the management of the facility maintenance department in compliance with government and management directives, regulations and laws.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist the manager, support services in the development of departmental budget; monitor and control expenditures.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting maintenance.
3. Conduct regular inspection of buildings, grounds and equipment to ensure proper repair, facility improvement and preventive maintenance in compliance with program requirements and safety/building codes.
4. Maintain buildings, grounds and equipment; maintain an effective work order and prevent maintenance systems; manage custodians.
5. Supervise and evaluate students on center work support and work based learning assigned to the department.
6. Coordinate with other center staff to determine maintenance needs.
7. Prepare and maintain appropriate management records such as equipment inventory, building systems descriptions and preventive maintenance checks.

Education/Experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and two (2) years related experience or 
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
