Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, and energetic individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant I. Working under the general direction of the Chief of Parole, this position will represent the Parole Division in statewide, (both North and South regions) for reentry services in assisting individuals to reintegrate back in their community. The right candidate will collaborate and liaise with state agencies and community partners where reentry services will occur, serve as a liaison with the Illinois Department of Public Health, and maintain resource equipment for statewide events. In addition, they will travel to statewide regions to partner with organizations interested in promoting resource fairs, maintain the Parole's webpage, Summit of Hope, and provide quarterly assessments for statewide reentry events. Essential Functions

• Under the direction of the Chief of Parole, the Parole Reentry Staff Assistant will represent the Parole Division in statewide, (both North and South regions) for reentry services in assisting individuals to reintegrate back in their community.
