We're looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team of caring professionals in Bergen County, NJ. Come be a part of a growing organization on a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!

Job Status: Independent Contractor OR W2 (per diem)

Pay: $74-$93 per hour

Schedule: Super flexible!

What You'll Do:

• Provide one-on-one treatment
• Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
• Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients
• Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist Program Graduate.
• New Jersey Occupational Therapist License or eligible.
• Evaluates a patient's need for occupational therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate occupational therapy techniques.
• Certifications Required: CPR/First Aid
