The opportunity: 

In this position you will be a member of the Dental Business Finance team working in a financial planning and analysis role. This role is responsible for supporting the Dental business unit in managing its financial results and supporting its objectives in achieving sustainable, profitable business growth.

How you will contribute: 

• Support completion of Dental FP&A reporting deliverables for Central US FP&A including monthly forecasts, Monthly Business Review (MBR), Quarterly Business Review (QBR), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Support annual Strategic & Business Plan deliverables including Central US FP&A deliverables and management review materials
• Contribute in development and maintenance of insightful and timely Legal Entity reporting and analysis
• Support Financial Modeling, forecasting and analysis for Capital and Cash needs
• Provide financial modeling and forecasting to enable financial decision making
• Provide solutions and continuous improvement opportunities to efficiently solve problems and provide critical thinking skills
• Prioritize competing responsibilities while remaining focused on the big picture
• Listen and effectively communicate with clarity, precision and transparency

What you will bring with you: 

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of analytical experience
• Insurance industry experience is preferred.
• *Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
• Experience with Oracle General Ledger financial reporting hierarchies and associated reporting tools (Essbase/Smartview, Hyperion Financial Reporting, Tableau) is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required as this position has direct contact with various business groups.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Problem solving skills with a natural proactive curiosity for root cause analysis to identify key levers of financial performance.
• Analytical thinking skills to design/orchestrate use of financial and business analytics for decision making.
• Strong prioritization and organization skills; capable of and committed to meeting financial reporting deadlines in a high-performance environment.
