We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position of Senior Principal Test Systems Technical Lead Engineer located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. This position experience in a lab environment to work with weapon test system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support test and tactical software development, testing, and delivery of missiles to the warfighter.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Communicate regularly with the program Integrated Product Team Leader (IPTL).
Responsible for leading the Technical Execution of the program.
Work directly with the Program Manager/IPTL to establish and complete program milestones.
Lead a multi-disciplinary team in an engineering environment.
Develop and participate in presentations for gate reviews.
Attend and provide input to Failure Review Boards (FRBs) when required.
Attend Change Control Boards (CCBs) and approve system changes.
Report status metrics for your team to stakeholders.
Define program requirements in a multi-disciplinary team.
As the lead, you will be expected to provide training, as needed, understand the scope, cost and schedule of the Program and define/delegate tasking for your team.
Travel up to 20% to support development and/or delivery of our test environment equipment.
What You Will Learn:
System level test setup and operation across the different environments within development or production.
Experience working across multi-disciplined groups of engineers.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree and seven (7) years of experienc
