Responsibilities:

• As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our maintenance team and ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include:

 

Maintenance Department Leadership:

• Lead and manage the maintenance department, overseeing electrical, machining, and tooling inspections and repairs.
• Develop and fabricate new equipment and tooling.
• Maintain the grounds, buildings, and equipment.

 

Project Management & Lean Maintenance:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program.
• Ensure proper training and adherence to procedures.
• Complete reporting documents and communicate changes.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to achieve industry-standard goals.

 

Spare Part Administration and Budget Management:

• Monitor spare parts and equipment inventory.
• Manage department expenses, request quotes, and place orders as needed.

 

Team Leadership:

• Coach and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide training and communication to enhance the skills of the maintenance crew.
• Collaborate with other plants to share best practices.

 

Maintenance Program and Initiatives:

• Implement and manage maintenance system software.
• Research industry best practices and trends to enhance the maintenance program.
• Integrate preventative maintenance within the facility.

 

Data-Driven Analysis:

• Utilize data to analyze equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Create work schedules and follow preventative maintenance (TPM) guidelines.

 

Communication and Organization:

• Work with vendors, negotiate rates, and transfer technical knowledge to the team.
• Conduct department meetings, training sessions, and provide clear instructions.

 

Efficiency and Timely Product Delivery:

• Ensure machines are running efficiently to deliver products on time.

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of working knowledge of facility machines and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AC/DC motors and drives, light electrical ability, troubleshooting, repair, and installations within the plant.
• "Boots on the Floor" mentality with a focus on effective employee relations.
• Ability to mentor and empower your team while balancing quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost.
• Skill and knowledge to develop key programs, influence, lead a team, and collaborate with other peers for best practices.
• Empowered proactive and hands-on skills on the Production Floor.
