Operations Support Manager

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (preferred)
Travel: ~50%
Employment Type: Full-Time
Company: PrimeSource Building Products
Compensation Range: $100,000 – $115,000 annually (DOE)

Why This Role Matters

At PrimeSource Building Products, we’re building tomorrow—smarter, faster, and together. The Operations Support Manager plays a critical role in driving enterprise-wide construction, operational, and process initiatives that directly impact how our facilities are built, improved, and scaled.

This is a highly visible role for a hands-on project leader who thrives in complexity, enjoys building structure where none exists, and knows how to turn strategy into executable processes. If you enjoy owning large initiatives end-to-end, partnering across teams, and leaving systems better than you found them—this role was built for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional construction and operational projects across the organization from concept through execution
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects using project management tools and boards (e.g., Monday.com or similar platforms)
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Facilities, IT, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Support new construction, expansions, relocations, and operational improvement initiatives
  • Audit existing processes, identify gaps, and implement scalable, standardized solutions
  • Write, document, and maintain SOPs, workflows, and project playbooks
  • Drive continuous improvement by creating repeatable processes and best practices
  • Serve as a change leader—communicating clearly, removing obstacles, and driving accountability
  • Travel up to 50% to support projects across the PrimeSource footprint

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of project management experience, ideally within construction, operations, supply chain, or multi-site environments
  • Proven experience leading large, cross-departmental projects across multiple locations
  • Strong understanding of construction and new construction project lifecycles
  • Experience with process auditing, SOP development, and operational documentation
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Monday.com strongly preferred)
  • Ability to influence without authority and build strong partnerships at all levels
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or building products environments
  • Prior experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or rapid growth organizations
