TheContract Analyst supports the contracting program during the onboarding of new and existing contracts. This is an office-based role with a strong focus on reimbursement.
- Work with redlines and ensuring version control of assigned agreements.
- Track and maintain all stages of agreement document process.
- Ensure timely contract completion and execution.
- Collaborate with internal team during specialty contract negotiations and with pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Review final documents and ensure all proper internal approvals are obtain prior to submitting for signature implementation notification and facility list tracking.
- Provides necessary support needed to the client for audits by providing an explanation of the data flow through various systems.
- Assists in regulatory oversight of the program internal audits, including identifying problems, developing solutions, and enhancing operational workflows.
- Reviews split billing and in-house retail pharmacy claims for correct modifiers to prevent duplicate discounts.
- Monitors accounts for contract uploading and identifies medications which may be opportunities to work with the manufacturer to extend pricing.
- Proactively act on assigned projects.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Develop a breadth of Specialty Pharmacy knowledge that includes required contractual clauses and services offerings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Advanced degree certification in marketing, economics, finance, or related field is strongly preferred.
- Two to four years related experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Knowledge of health care accounting, finance and reimbursement principles.
- Proficiency in MSOffice, Outlook and database applications.
- Use critical thinking to apply knowledge to each contract.
- Strong attention to detail & Sense of urgency
- Ability to manage multiple complex agreements simultaneously.
- Open and adaptable to new and innovative strategies and processes
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Ability to identify and escalate critical issues.
