Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our People & Culture Operations team. As an intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR operations and processes that contribute to fostering a positive work culture and employee experience. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about human resources, eager to learn, and committed to delivering exceptional support to our employees. Responsibilities
- Assist with various HR processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee data management, and offboarding.
- Support the maintenance and accuracy of employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters, such as policies, benefits, and employee programs.
- Help coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Stay updated on local HR policies, practices, and employment laws to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the local and global HR team members on various projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Junior or Senior year with a major in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Knowledge of HR concepts and practices through internships, coursework, or relevant projects is preferred.
- Basic understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and operations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Workday a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
