Location: Greenbelt, MD – Onsite
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret (TS) – eligible for TS/SCI
We are currently looking to fill a Sr. Commodity Jurisdiction Analyst role. Responsibilities & other details are listed below:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply expert knowledge to analyze complex export compliance and trade regulation issues that cannot be resolved by standard methods.
- Make significant decisions or recommendations that influence important public policies or programs related to commodity jurisdiction.
- Identify and define unknown conditions, resolve critical issues, and develop new theories or approaches in export compliance.
- Provide products and services that impact other experts, major administrative or scientific programs, or the well-being of large populations.
- Provide peer feedback and support to division leadership on technical dispute resolution reviews and multilateral regime efforts, including Wassenaar Arrangement and Missile Technology Control Regime.
- Assist in rewriting and refining Technical Dispute Resolutions (TDRs) and contribute to division-wide trade control reviews.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Liberal Arts, or related fields.
- Minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience, including at least five years in a related career field.
- Possess a minimum Top-Secret clearance, with eligibility up to TS/SCI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact professionally and courteously with diverse individuals in various situations.
