Software Development Manager
Location: Strong preference for Nashville or Austin. Remote from limited other areas within the US will also be considered.
We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead product development teams building Oracle’s next-generation, AI-powered ticketing platform. In this role, you will drive technical excellence, guide product direction, and foster a culture of trust, direct feedback, and healthy debate. You will measure team health and delivery through outcomes, focusing on cycle time and limiting work in progress (WIP) to maximize flow.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- 3+ years of hands-on management experience in software engineering.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, proven ability to hire and grow talents.
- Experience in designing enterprise scale full-stack cloud-based services
- Deep technical expertise working with leading platforms such as OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong grasp of Agile/SCRUM development in enterprise environments
- Experience in full-stack cloud services and modern backend technologies (Java, Python).
- Experience in managing Jira environments
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and decisive leadership style.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
