Senior Technical Program Manager

This team will provide hands-on program management when product delivery and integration span organizational boundaries. </span><br/><span>Additionally, this team owns and leads programs with global scope for compliance, security, or operations that transcend any single business unit. We create the mechanisms for governance, ways of working, and prioritization across the Group. This includes strategic portfolio management tools for managing dependencies and deliverables, defining the format and cadence of program reviews, and ensuring decisions that maximize the investments of people and resources into things that matter to the company’s customers.</span><br/>The role can be hired in Poland (Poznan, Warszawa or remote), Portugal (Lisbon or remote) or Spain (Barcelona or remote). <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Lead large-scale cross-functional programs through design, development, and market launch across all European OLX classified products. </li><li>Collaborate with engineering and product leaders across Group and business units to ensure work is aligned with the strategic priorities.</li><li>Prioritize programs, develop deliverables schedules, track external dependencies and commitments, manage stakeholders.</li><li>Manage programs to success, determining and mitigating risks, assessing and communicating status, providing programs visibility.</li><li>Establish and apply a governance framework that works across business units and functional areas for driving decision making.</li><li>Track program performance using success metrics, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and collaborate to fine tune programs as needed.</li><li>Manage a portfolio of programs using tools and analytics to ensure programs are meeting business unit and Group goals across OLX.</li><li>Work closely with the CTO and CTO leadership team.</li></ul> <h3>Profile &amp; Experience</h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.</li><li>5+ years in software program management, including managing significant cross functional projects in mid-size or large companies using industry standard software development methodologies.</li><li>Experience operating at scale, e.g., with teams and products around the world, in fast growing consumer markets.</li><li>Experience working directly with executive teams.</li><li>High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.</li><li>Background in developing and/or applying a governance framework for decision making.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.</li><li><b>Previous experience as a Product Manager or Software Engineer.</b></li></ul> <h3>Key Partners &amp; Stakeholders</h3> <ul> <li>Engineering and Product Leaders - daily engagement on the programs delivery</li><li>The TPM team is part of the Global CTO office and regularly collaborates with OLX executive level leaders.</li><li>Business unit CTO and CPO leadership – collaboration and governance to ensure programs meet global and business unit goals.</li><li>Executive management team – preparation of quarterly reviews delivered by business unit leads.</li><li>Finance leaders – planning product investments, tracking program costs and ROI.</li></ul> <h3>What we offer</h3> <ul> <li>Outstanding opportunity to become a part of an international team of committed people learning from one another and contributing to the European classifieds success.</li><li>Great place to learn and develop within a fast-growing, global classifieds leader which opens further career opportunities in the diverse world of OLX and Prosus/Naspers.</li><li>Fun and informal environment where getting stuff done and enjoying the ride is far more important than rules and hierarchies.</li><li>Competitive salary (base + yearly bonus), working from home allowance and attractive benefits. </li></ul><b>Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at OLX</b>OLX values diversity and welcomes applicants of all races, ethnicities, disabilities, ages, genders, sexual orientations, religions, backgrounds, and experiences to apply.
