Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Seeking a skilled speech pathologist who can provide inpatient services in both Westwood and Santa Monica hospital locations. Must be available to work at least one weekend day as part of their weekly schedule. Individual will provide inpatient services in areas including speech, language, cognition, and/or swallowing.

Job Duties:

• Provide speech pathology services to patients in the acute setting at both the Westwood and Santa Monica campuses
• Perform clinical swallow evaluations, MBSS, FEES and treatment
• Perform communication/cognitive evaluation and treatment
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation

Salary: 58.49-77.17 hourly

Job Qualifications

• California State Speech Pathology license
• High level of clinical skill to work with complex medical and social situations
• Experience conducting MBSS and FEES is required
• Experience treating critically ill patients with speech, cognitive and swallowing disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems
• Excellent documentation abilities
• At least one year of post graduate experience
• Experience with pediatric patients is preferred
