Service Manager and Business Product Owner
Position Purpose
As a member of Service Management Team, you will assume a role encompassing Service Manager and Business Product Owner responsibilities. In this dynamic position, you will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services while also driving the strategic direction and development of business products or services. Your role will involve managing service delivery processes, fostering stakeholder relationships, defining product vision and strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
What will you do – responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients or internal stakeholders, understanding their needs, and proactively addressing concerns.
- Product Strategy: Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for business products or services, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
- Requirement Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize feature enhancements, and new capabilities based on business value and customer impact.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor service and product performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement to enhance service quality and product effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and enhance service delivery and product quality.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to service delivery processes and product development, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to teams of service delivery professionals and cross-functional product development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Who are we looking for – requirements:
- Preferably a degree in a scientific or technical subject
- Comprehensive knowledge of product specifications (preferably in the FMCGs area) would be an advantege
- Experience in dynamic business environments, deadlines, and in addressing product and process related inquiries.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
- Confidence in dealing with internal and external partners
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential trade secret information
- High willingness to learn new systems, processes and to demonstrate initiative
- Strong knowledge of common PC software applications, MS Office and SAP
- Ability to handle competing priorities effectively
- Excellent English skills, knowledge of other language(s) advantageous
