This position will support all aspects of our CKRI programs. In addition, this role will be positioned to support targeted growth related to Inpatient Rehabilitation and TRP expansion and integration of IRF staff.
- 1.0 FTE (80-hours per two-week pay period)
- 8-hour day shifts
- You may be required to work weekends on rare occasions
- Position may require floating to several of the Courage Kenny sites
Job Description:
Oversees regulatory quality, accreditation, and clinical quality efforts across applicable programs. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable quality and cost-of-care measures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Supports data analysis, validation, and project management activities to enhance clinical quality, optimize measurement strategies, and improve operational efficiency. Collaborates with physicians, clinicians, operational leaders and other stakeholders to design and implement effective structures, processes, and outcomes.
Principle Responsibilities
- Program Leadership
- Partners with clinical experts in the development, implementation, and sustainability of evidenced-based clinical best practice standards for targeted populations.
- Plays a key role in identifying unwarranted variation in clinical practice that may affect quality outcomes, patient experience, and total cost of care.
- Collaborates with physicians and business unit leaders to ensure consistent implementation of best practices.
- Leads meetings that support clinical program initiatives andassists operational leaders in the implementation and sustainability of plans.
- Develops both internal and patient- facing communication/education materials.
- Measurement and reporting
- Manages quality reporting requirements and assures all required regulatory quality measures are reported accurately and timely.
- Maintains scorecards related to program quality indicators, assisting in interpretation of data and development of meaningful action plans to improve performance.
- Collaborates with program leadership on pay for performance programs that rely on clinical quality metrics.
- Improvement Support
- Leads project management of initiatives using quality improvement tools to drive performance improvement, including the identification of industry benchmarking for goal setting.
- Plans and implements necessary improvement initiatives needed to comply with regulatory annual rule requirements and changes.
- Develops and implements system-level workflows across teams to create efficiencies.
- Policy and Compliance
- Analyzes and monitors state and federal legislative policy proposals regulating clinical quality programs
- Translates legislative policy and technical standards into meaningful language for key stakeholders and operational understanding
- Understands reporting requirements and data elements necessary to identify, support or negate regulatory quality concerns.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Therapy, Public Health, Health Care Administration and/or other health care related field
- 5+ years Healthcare experience in related field
- 3+ years Project management and/or experience with quality improvement principles
- 2+ years Healthcare quality reporting
- 2+ years Electronic medical record experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Health Care Administration and/or other health care related field
- 2+ years Health informatics experience
Licenses/Certifications
- Maintain license as applicable
