Job Summary:

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) seeks a dynamic multi-tasker with excellent communication skills. This role involves delivering psycho-educational programs and case management services to the offender/resident population through classes and one-on-one sessions on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, developing individual plans, and assisting in transitional planning for offenders leaving the reentry center. This position requires interaction with internal and external staff, Community Corrections Officers (CCOs), and community providers. Additionally, maintaining accurate documentation and statistical data/reports is essential. The role demands an individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Duties:

- Delivers programming services and classes in a group or one-on-one setting during weekdays, weekends, and evenings to offenders/residents under supervision of the Community Corrections Division
- Case management of various elements of offender/resident participation, class completions, documentation and data entry
- Statistical gathering and reporting on programs, offender/resident needs, participation and success of programs
- Communicates, interacts and works with internal and external employees, contractors, community agencies, programming delivery entities and offenders/residents
- Drives on State business
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
- Principles and practices of program planning, laws, rules, regulations, and trends in the area of assignment
- Local, state, and federal programs and resources
- Research methodologies and report preparation
- Best practices in community resources and requirements
- ADCRR policies and procedures
- Security practices
- Computer operations and various software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

Selective Preference(s):

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working with justice-involved individuals, probationers, parolees, or inmates
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in instruction or teaching of programs, classes or groups
