Fiskars Group’s HR team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Director, Fiskars Americas to join our global HR team. This role reports directly to the Chief HR Officer, based in Europe, and is the top HR position supporting the Americas (including the US and Canada).
As HR Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing talent strategies that enable growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness across Fiskars Americas. You’ll be responsible for leading HR initiatives and ensuring they align with both business objectives and global HR strategies. You will work closely with leadership teams at Fiskars Americas and Gerber, driving HR programs that attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Additionally, this role oversees Payroll and Benefits functions for Fiskars Group businesses in the Americas, with a team of ten professionals, including Payroll & Benefits specialists, HRBPs, and Facilities team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire HR and Facilities teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with the global HR team to deliver initiatives on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- Drive a culture of accountability and execution excellence across Fiskars Americas.
- Partner with management teams to address people-related topics and solutions.
- Represent the Americas region’s HR needs on a global stage within the Fiskars Group.
- Ensure Fiskars Americas is recognized as a top destination for talent, attracting and retaining the best people.
- Communicate effectively at all levels, collaborating with teams across different geographies and departments.

In addition, you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's in Psychology, Sociology, or Organizational Design is a plus).
- Over 10 years of relevant HR experience, with a proven track record of leading teams across multiple locations.
- Strong ability to work independently and exercise judgment in decision-making.
- Experience managing HR in the USA, preferably with a focus on the Americas region.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English, with experience working in an organization with diverse language backgrounds.
