Warehouse Associate

Overview

Mad City Windows and Baths, the Midwest's#1 Remodeling company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Production Office in Cedar Rapids, IA.

 

This would be 1st shift Monday through Friday with hours between 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
• Operates warehouse equipment, including forklift to place products and materials in proper place
• Load and log materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials
• Prepares jobs and materials for all crews
• Cleaning trucks (both inside and out)
• Deliver material/transporting employees to job sites
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1-2 years Warehouse experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Must know safe warehouse practices
• Must be willing to deliver product between offices on daily basis
• Forklift experience required
• Knowledge of home remodeling products or construction materials is a plus
