Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

MindCare Solutions is a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health solutions for acute care facilities. We are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated and collaborative group. 

Compensation: $120,000 per year + Bonus Opportunities 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities: 

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate a patients' mental health status 
• Formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans based on clinical findings 
• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy options 
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients 
• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary 
• Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects 
• Perform med floor and ed consults with patients
• Implement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditions 
• The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Offers education and support to patients regarding mental health conditions and treatment options 
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards 
• Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions

Qualifications: 

• Certified Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in TX
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment 
• Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team 
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards 
• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners will maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist (we will provide) 
• Direct experience with acute care facilities is preferred as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Active and unrestricted driver’s license
