A Treehouse Cook 2 is an essential member of the kitchen team, bringing solid culinary skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to teamwork. In this role, you’ll take responsibility for key stations such as salads, appetizers, and desserts, preparing dishes with care and precision. You’ll play an important role in supporting smooth service, maintaining high standards, and contributing to the overall success of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Work a variety of stations with consistency, precision, and care.
Prepare and plate dishes following established recipes and presentation standards.
Flexibility to work in a variety of culinary settings, including banquets, à la carte service, and other kitchen operations.
Assist with mise en place preparation to ensure readiness for service.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Communicate effectively with chefs and team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Support the team by assisting with prep tasks and jumping in where needed.
Experience preparing and assisting with the execution of banquet events, including high-volume service.
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience.
Solid understanding of cooking techniques, with the ability to execute tasks independently.
Confidence in working multiple stations during service
Ability to prepare and assist in executing banquet events
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to stay efficient and focused during busy shifts.
