This role is responsible for global holding company accounting and reporting functions as well as compliance reporting and legal entity projects.

About Team:
Our team is focused on developing a streamlined, dependable company that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and Associate Experience Digital Transformation (AEDT). We also provide a variety of services such as procurement, supplier portfolio management, merchandising master data, and analytics. From developing HR chatbots and virtual assistants to creating invoice solutions and facilitating legal changes, we help drive efficiency across Walmart globally.

What you'll do:

•    Manage the execution of monthly Treasury Cash Plan entries for the team.
•    Provide data and submit required reporting for BEA (US Bureau of Economic Analysis)
•    Responsible for the timely filing of audited financial statements of GHCs (Global Holding Companies).
•    Assist Tax, Treasury, Global Consolidation and others on Restructuring projects
•    Assist other business customers with Legal Entity related questions including LE liquidations, dissolutions, etc.
•    Drive efficiencies to improve system functionality and reliability.
•    Explore Gen AI solutions for current manual processes and tasks.
 

What you'll bring:

• Strong Accounting background and experience
• Extensive knowledge of ERP system accounting 
• Problem solving and intellectual curiosity along with a transformational mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and 3 years of experience in Accounting
