AmeriHome Mortgage, a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bank (WAL), is seeking Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a Data Services team responsible for testing and automating full-stack regulatory applications. This role involves participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, unit testing, debugging and production support. As a member of a highly visible team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of multiple regulatory applications. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as collaboration with various teams across AmeriHome will be a key part of this rol
- Design, develop, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and programs for testing
- Perform automation testing for APIs and web applications. Enhance and extend test automation libraries and frameworks. Build and maintain testing tools, mock services to streamline the development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in product delivery to ensure alignment and quality.
- Analyze test failures, verify fixes, and work to improve code coverage using industry standard tools such as SonarQube,
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment with minimal supervision.
- Participate in on-all rotations to address issues, isolate bugs and restore services when needed.
- Stay to update to date with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in QA automation.
What you'll need:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer since or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as Test Automation Engineer or QA Engineer.
- Strong expertise in automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium or Huloop.
- Experience with cross-browser testing and supporting applications built with AngularJS and React.
- Proficiency in testing SOAP and REST web services and familiarity with tools like Postman.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life cycle and manual testing processes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline, including configuration using Azure DevOps (ADO)
