Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Product Line Analyst to join our team in the Sales & Marketing-Sales Administration department. This role is responsible for the development and upkeep of the monthly forcast in the JD Edwards forecasting system. Assists the buinsess development manager and product managers with the development and updating of new product introduction forecasts.
Position Duties: - Responsible for the development and upkeep of the monthly forecast in the JD Edward forcasting system. The Senior Product Analyst will be responsible for all Madison production, Grote Mexico and Supply Chain forecast.
- Assist the business development managers and product managers to develop and update new product introduction forecasts, as well as existing product forecasts.
- Responsible for communicating with field sales personnel to understand current market conditions.
- Work with all key production personnel to communicate and implement forecast changes.
- Responsible for holding periodic forecast meetings. Develops all key charts, graphs, and background information to communicate the forecast to key executive managers.
- Responsible for back up support to the Sales Business Analyst for the CRM program.
- Develop analysis of current product demand on various levels (i.e., by slaes categories, customers, regions, etc)
- Communicate analysis through reports and oral presentations.
- Pro-actively develop new reports and analysis on an as needed basis.
- Develop analysis prior to customer visits and presentations.
- Develop maco level trend analysis to present to senior management. Will work with the Director of Sale (aftermarket and OEM) to identify key areas to explore and deliverable dates. Would like to see a minumum of two programs per year to be presented to senior management.
- Keep abreast of competitive development and actions, analysing current positions, and providing insight into future actions and potential shifts in strategy.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in marketing/business administration or related field. 5-7 years of experience in the heavy duty and automotive industry.
