We want to make sure that physicians spend their time fighting cancer, not software.  </p><p>As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer at Elekta you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of cutting-edge tech. We are passionate about bringing the latest innovations to daily use by clinicians and motivated by the direct global impact the work has on saving people’s lives.</p><p></p><p>What you’ll do at Elekta </p><p></p><p>You will develop rock-solid cloud applications for our cloud-native Kubernetes stack, seamlessly deployable on our on-premises infrastructure in the cloud.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Implement software applications including design and testing. </li><li>Contribute to design decisions and discussions with project teams. Translate user needs into software requirements.</li><li>Ensure software quality standards are met through documentation, risk analysis and testing support. </li><li>Participate in activities for improving engineering practices, tools, infrastructure and other quality system processes and deliverables.</li><li>Proficient in all phases of the software development cycle.</li><li>Proactively identify, troubleshoot and fix complex problems. Take initiatives to identify areas for quality improvements.</li><li>Actively seek to develop a working knowledge of a range of domain/engineering areas, processes, new technologies and tools needed to fulfil Elekta business strategies and project requirements.</li><li>Work closely with other teams to manage dependencies.<br/><br/> </li></ul><p>Desired Qualifications</p><ul><li>MSc/MEng in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 3-5 years of application development experience.</li><li>Skilled in Internationalized SPA (Single Page Application) development.</li><li>Knowledge in Typescript, and Angular is desired.</li><li>Skilled in RESTful service development, event-driven design, implementation and infrastructure services/tools. You are skilled in either Python or C# (.NET Core) and interested in working with a modern, python-based microservice application.</li><li>Data storage methods (especially SQL) and test automation are familiar concepts to you.</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud tools such as Kubernetes is an advantage.</li><li>You are also fluent in English, both written and verbal. </li></ul><p></p><p>What you bring </p><p></p><p>Besides living by our values, your drive and passion for creating innovative products will be success factors in this position.
