We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineering Technician, Electronic, to join our Mission Systems Technical Support Services team. In this hands-on role, you’ll diagnose, test, and troubleshoot complex electronic assemblies, oversee lab operations, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance. You’ll work closely with engineers to troubleshoot, improve processes, and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

  • Diagnose and fault-find complex electronic assemblies to component level (analog, digital, and RF)

  • Test electronic assemblies and record test, failure, and yield reports

  • Troubleshoot and repair switch mode power supplies and other circuits

  • Diagnose test equipment faults and perform maintenance/calibration

  • Build and maintain test fixtures, cable assemblies, and specialized setups

  • Review/redline engineering documents, schematics, and test procedures

  • Support engineering troubleshooting and process improvement projects

  • Assist with RF projects and automated test equipment debug

  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-equipped lab environment

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience

  • Strong background in electronics troubleshooting down to component level

  • RF skills as part of your electronics expertise

  • Experience testing and debugging analog/digital electronic assemblies

  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power supplies, and other lab equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is preferred
