Job Description

Key tasks & responsibilities:
Entrepreneur” of pilot-project (category C)
Assure achievements of project objectives and targets
Project budgeting and control of project profit (EBIT optimization)
Manage interface between customer and project team
Set-up of project-charter and project management plan
Define top-level project schedule
Decide within scope of the project
Perform project risk management and quality management
Ensure customer sample quality and timing
Prepare and present project status
Track and control project-KPI’s
Launch management
Lead & develop project team
Perform lessons learned and final project review
Lead interdisciplinary project teams
Interface to the customer; manage interface between customer and project team
Responsible for achievement of the PM-KPI’s (CPC completeness and consistency, OTD, EBIT)
Responsible for achievement of project targets and KPIs (on time, on spec, on quality, on budget/ profit, customer satisfaction)
Responsible for project-specific decision-making
Initiate projects by setting-up a project charter (PjC) and a project management Plan (PM-P)
Plan and set-up kick-off-meeting
Identify and analyze the stakeholders, define a communication strategy by setting up a communication plan (incl. escalation matrix)
Define top-level schedule and milestones, create a work breakdown structure
Estimate, specify, and adapt the planning (time, budget)
Set-up and maintain cockpit chart with a completeness/consistency value of 100% and present project status
Perform risk management and quality management
Monitor and control project execution regularly, define and implement countermeasures in case of deviations, escalate if necessary
Responsible for change management affecting the project
Ensure delivery of customer samples on time, on spec, on quality
Apply professional launch management as launch manager
Ensure control of resources & budget
Perform professional EBIT-tracking and ensure profitability of the project
Perform value-added lessons learned and apply the final project review (FPR)

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree

3+ years professional experience

Preferred:
Experiences in all project phases (initiation, planning, execution & control, closing) especially in global team environment as project manager.

Language skills in Chinese/German(optional)
