Our Anduril manufacturing development team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware, including static equipment, moving ground equipment, and flight vehicles. This team’s responsibility includes sheet metal processing, engineering design, and manufacturing procedures.
The ideal candidate for this role has a track record of taking ownership of our parts and materials. They have creatively devised physical solutions, troubleshooted machinery, and followed industry best practices. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Order parts and materials as needed
- Pickup/drop off parts and materials
- Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals.
- Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance.
- Follow industry best practices, SOPs, LOTO procedures, and other best practices
- Implementing new information and recording PM’s into a CMMS
- Coordinate and communicate with managers and stakeholders to schedule equipment maintenance and lead-times
- Maintain inventory of spares and consumables
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work through tasks with limited oversight (evaluate, order materials, execute)
- 2+ years experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of ac/dc electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work through tasks with limited oversight (evaluate, order materials, execute)
- High level of mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability
- Ability to multi-task
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience maintaining CNC machinery (mills, lathes, water jet, fiber laser)
- Prior experience maintaining batch ovens
- Prior experience maintaining dust collection systems
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
