About the Team

Workday is looking for a Senior Copywriter to help build compelling copy across a variety of marketing communications. As a Senior Copywriter, you are part storyteller, part wordsmith. You enjoy brainstorming innovative ideas to bring the Workday story to life. And you’re equally adept at turning messaging—even technical jargon—into clear, conversational, and fun copy. You understand how to live at the intersection of technology and marketing. This role reports to the Creative Director, Copy. About the Role

  • Collaborate with designers and art directors to tell the Workday story in events, web, video, social, and brand initiatives

  • Partner with cross-functional collaborators including solution marketers, digital marketers, the events team, and more

  • Bring a combination of strategic, conceptual, and writing skills to raise the creative bar

  • Consistent track record of taking ownership of projects and getting results

  • Advocate for the Workday brand and ensure all content aligns with our brand voice

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of marketing copywriting experience 

  • Portfolio work is required

Other Qualifications

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

  • You can write in both long and short-form formats across mediums

  • You’re highly collaborative and can lead multiple projects across different teams

  • You show a strong attention for detail, strive for excellence, and is passionate about doing great work

  • You’re able to balance creativity with business needs

  • You flourish with challenges and can shift as project demands change


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $99,200 USD - $148,800 USD
