We are currently seeking a suitably experienced professional to join Queensland Rail in this new role initially for 2 years with the possibility of extension. The role will see you develop, implement, and maintain systems for planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting the progress and performance of projects, programs, and portfolios within Major Projects. Your success in this role will be determined by your ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders effectively
Purpose that Counts - Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, monitor, and report on the performance of projects, programs, and portfolios.
- Develop and maintain detailed and complex schedules.
- Develop progress measurements to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Analyse schedule performance and conduct regular Schedule integrity checks and escalate any issues identified to management.
- Produce high quality reports & progress narratives.
People Who Count - Who we are looking for:
- Extensive level of experience using Primavera P6.
- High level of skill in analysing complex project planning issues and inter-relationships between projects where requirements often change.
- High level of interpersonal, negotiation, oral, and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of project management principles
- Experience using Tableau or Power BI and MS Project is advantageous
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual with outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have previous experience in planning and scheduling large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
