Tagg-N-Go Car Wash is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice to join our team in Southern Utah! In this role, you will assist our Maintenance Technicians and perform a variety of repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks across multiple locations. Job Title: Maintenance Apprentice - Southern Utah 

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Maintenance Technician to prioritize tasks, obtain supplies, and assess the skills needed for each job.
• Assist with projects and installations as assigned by the Maintenance Director. 
• Shadow Maintenance Technicians to develop and hone your own skills.
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Inspect and identify equipment in need of repair.
• Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic repairs.
• Travel between locations within the designated area.
• Assist with timely, unscheduled repairs due to breakdowns.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates properly.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• No previous car wash maintenance experience required!
• Possess a positive and energetic self-starter attitude, with excellent drive, ambition and work ethic.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions from Maintenance Technicians.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Time management and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts, as needed.
• Willingness to work outside in varying temperatures.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, and perform repetitive motions for repairs or installations.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to see variations in color.
• Ability to climb and work from ladders.
