Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Patient Care Assistant to join our ICU team!

Shift:

Full-time position with five 8-hour shifts per week, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including an every-other-weekend rotation.

Job Description Summary:

The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for direct patient care tasks as assigned and under supervision of professional nursing personnel.  Also provides indirect care to maintain unit functions as directed by the professional nursing staff i.e. care and cleaning of specific equipment, transportation of patients, stocking of supplies and equipment, etc.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Assistant preferred or current nursing student

• Current AHA BLS

• Prior healthcare experience highly desired
