Objective 

Responsible for Direct purchasing activities of, Aluminum, Production Materials, Manufacturing Services Subcategories

 

Main Responsibilities 

 

• Carry out daily Purchase to pay activities
• Negotiate to achieve best cost, terms, and timing.
• Work cross functionally with Operations, Engineering, MP&L, and other functional organizations
• Gain familiarity with supply base and research potential suppliers to help find commercial solutions that improve performance and efficiency.
• Drive and support cost reduction initiatives through strong collaboration with operations.
• Monitor and Improve Payment terms, Delivery terms, Stocking agreements
• Monitor and support supplier evaluation and development
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures

 

Position Requirements 

 

 

• Bachelor's engineering degree required preferably in Industrial Engineering
• Advanced English
• At least 5 years experienced in purchasing area of automative industry
• Automative industry knowledge
• Advanced skills MS Office and SAP MM
• Negotiation skills
• Problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• Communication skills that demonstrate speed, clarity and drive for results
