Job Description: 

As an intern, you will gain valuable experience of working in a corporate environment and assist with day-to-day operations of a large corporate tax department. Duties will include preparing tax forms, assisting with many tasks using spreadsheet models, tax software and accounting ERP systems.

 

This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare sales & use tax returns as needed
• Obtain & review sales tax exemption certificates
• Gather information required for state sales tax audits
• Assist with file digitization project
• Assist with business license renewals as needed
• Special projects as assigned

 

 

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, as a rising Junior or Senior, in Accounting or similar undergraduate program with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Access)
