Fabric is backed by Thrive Capital, GV (Google Ventures), Salesforce Ventures,Vast Ventures, BoxGroup, and Atento Capital.The VP of Finance is a key member of the leadership team, reporting to the COO. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the company's financial resources, optimizing cash flow, mitigating risks, and supporting Fabric’s strategic growth initiatives. This role is fully remote.
What You Will Do
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for executive leadership
Lead and evolve the annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
Take ownership of forecast model and lead all ad-hoc scenario analysis and financial modeling as needed by the business
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights
Provide business partner support and collaborate with key business leaders to ensure alignment, drive growth, and optimize performance
Assist in identifying, defining, and evolving key business processes to support scaling the business
Own development of materials for management reviews, reporting, and board meetings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CPA, and/or CFA preferred
8+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a leadership role
Experience building and managing high-performing teams, ideally in a start-up or high-growth environment
Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably in a SaaS business
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and significant experience with QuickBooks
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
