Job Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations will facilitate improved IT services for the business
through the development and implementation of necessary monitoring and action plans. Set and enforce
standards for IT practices and end-to-end operations management. Responsible for IT vendors'
management when those vendors are included into the support escalation process. Directly manage the
1st level of IT (applications and infrastructure). Set and enforce policies/procedures for IT support
operations. Oversee the delivery of the IT services following KPI's monitoring. Direct the operations of IT
service representatives to ensure effective performance of job duties. Ensure the availability of required
hardware, software and other tools necessary for the delivery of high quality IT services. Communicate
with business and IT leaders in case of incident escalation. Ensure maintenance of the IT Service Recovery
and Business Continuity Plan for IT. Manage the performance of IT vendors when they are directly involved
in the overall IT services delivery to the business. Provide recommendations to management on
appropriate plans for improved services. Ensure the security and integrity of IT information database.
Perform detailed analyses to identify patterns of incidents and remediate through root cause
identification and correction. Accountable for a high-performing and resilient computing infrastructure
companywide. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and management of computer operations and
production support, systems and database administration, release management, business continuity,
network operations, telecom, cloud services, help desk, and field support. Ensure cost-effective design,
development, integration, implementation, testing, and maintenance of new services, equipment and
systems in support of business objectives and requirements. Establish, maintain and execute operations
procedures that leverage efficiencies and best practices embedded with a Managed Services contracted
approach. Oversee the direction of infrastructure investments in collaboration with team members, the
VP of IT, senior management, and partners.

What You Will Need

o US or foreign Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely-related field of

concentration, 7 years of experience in job offered or any closely related occupation or position.
OR

o US or foreign Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field of

concentration plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or other closely related occupation or
position.


Education or Experience must include:
o Substantial experience leading, directing and controlling a complex, highly technical
operation or organization.
o Experience migrating IT infrastructure into a cloud environment.
o Knowledge of business concepts, and an understanding of the links between major business
processes, products, systems, and networks.
o Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging technologies and the ability to apply
those technologies to business needs.
o Knowledge of: Infrastructure, DevOps, system architecture, technology life cycle
management, cloud computing and cloud operations, IaaS (public and private cloud), CaaS
(Containers-as-a-Service), PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service), networking, storage, infrastructure
and technology-based security practices, application and infrastructure monitoring,
virtualization, database and data center technology, business continuity, disaster recovery,
high-availability, scalability, continuous integration/delivery, unified communications,
automated software-based infrastructure management
