Description

The Department of Physical Education and Athletics at Hamilton College invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Rowing Coach/Professor of Physical Education. We seek an experienced, dynamic leader to direct all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III Women's Rowing programs, including recruiting, coaching, player development, and program administration, while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture that supports the academic and personal growth of student-athletes. Responsibilities include planning and conducting practices and competitions, managing team operations and budgets, and ensuring compliance with all NCAA, conference, and institutional policies. In addition, the Head Coach will contribute to the academic mission of the department by teaching courses in wellness, fitness, or lifetime physical activity.

We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their ability to coach, mentor, and support student-athletes from broadly diverse backgrounds. Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree and prior collegiate coaching experience are preferred. A Master’s degree or other terminal degree must be completed within 3 years (Hamilton college does offer tuition benefits to employees: https://www.hamilton.edu/offices/human-resources/benefits/tuition-benefits. Qualifications will determine faculty rank. Demonstrated success in recruiting, player development, and program management is highly desirable. The expected 12-month salary range for this position is $83,600 to $111,900 commensurate with experience and education.
