Who You Are

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities. Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another. Loads and unloads vehicles. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Requires appropriate license.

What You’ll Do

As Truck Driver – Tractor Trailer, you will:

  • Receive and Follow Directions: Report to the Foreman or General Foreman to receive assignments, instructions, and directions for daily activities.

  • Plan Work Activities: Read and interpret provided instructions and documentation to effectively plan and organize work activities.

  • Operate Company Vehicles: Safely operate company vehicles with a capacity of up to 30 tons to transport materials, tools, and equipment between work locations, supporting construction and maintenance activities.

  • Materials Transfer: Drive between warehouses to deliver operating materials and supplies, ensuring that items are transported safely and efficiently.

  • Load and Unload Vehicles: Manage the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring that all cargo is secure during transit and handled safely upon arrival.

  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Strictly observe all safety rules and procedures, including the use of required personal safety equipment to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Maintain Vehicle and Equipment: Ensure that all operated vehicles and equipment are maintained in good working condition, reporting any issues to supervisors as necessary.

  • Perform Directed Duties: Complete additional duties and activities as directed by supervisors, which may vary according to specific job site requirements.

  • Document Activities: Keep accurate records of all logistics and transport activities, including details of routes taken, materials transported, and time schedules, to support efficient operations and reporting.

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of Truck driver-Tractor trailer experience managing similar USG projects of size, scope and complexity, preferably with experience to adequately understand mission needs across the project.

  • High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.

  • Hold and maintain the appropriate license necessary for operating large vehicles, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of information and telecommunication management professionals.

  • Ability to maximize technical, performance, and operational efficiencies and minimize lifecycle costs.

  • Ability to maximize services and capabilities, provisioned as a service.
