A day in the life:

• Provide expert judgement, strategic planning and application of laws, administrative rules, policies and intergovernmental agreements for branch.

• Oversee multiple programs that generate more than $1.2 billion biennially for the Highway Trust Fund.

• Set objectives, priorities and service standards for branch that are consistent with Oregon and federal laws.

• Coordinate with legal entities to establish policies and procedures that comply with applicable laws.

• Oversee people management practices including workforce planning, performance evaluations, succession planning and conflict resolution.
