Junior ETL Developer - Clearance Required

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain documentation that enable platform maintenance and front-office knowledge management.

•  Participate in infrastructure reviews to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement.
•  Help maintain a trusted data foundation through ETL, data streaming, and data processing across distributed systems.
•  Perform and/or participate in requirements discovery and design work sessions to determine best practice solution requirements.
•  Demonstrate the ability to frame and scale data problems to effectively analyze, visualize and find data solutions.
•  Possess the ability to work with and manipulate common data formats, including comma-delimited, text files, and JSON.
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced, solutions oriented environment focused on client deliverables, analysis and reporting.
•  Possess the ability to work in teams and independently.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or other related business or quantitative discipline is required.
• 1-3 years of experience, performing related responsibilities and duties
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Experience working with DoD tools and platforms
• Familiar with ETL concepts and solutions particularly for big data engineering
• Experience working with a cloud provider (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) or in-house data centers.
• Proficient with a few programming languages including Python.
• Experience with administering or operating in Linux or Unix-like environments.
• Superior communication skills, both oral and written
• This position requires an active security clearance at the Secret level. You must be a US citizen.
